Chris knight is a talented and upcoming singer/songwriter who was born in Fort Worth, after releasing 2 albums independently, knight joined the sound of rock band the shining and quickly became one of its most popular players. The two first collective albums released by the shining were watched (a reference to the movie "the shawshank redemption") and subsequent singles "oh my spirit" and "all things lying in" were favorites of fans and reviewers. After a few more years of rock success, the shining disbanded and knight began his own career as a composer, but his most famous work as a singer and songwriter will continue long after he's away from the microphone.

Christy and I got to go to the event and we were impressed by how Chris Knight took care of business. The rocker was local and enjoyed himself, showing off his powerful voice. We think Chris Knight will continue to improve and make good on his promises to play at various venues throughout the austin area.
